What is the Coway rental model?
When you rent a Coway product (water purifier, air purifier, mattress, and more), you pay a fixed amount each month for the duration of your plan. In return you get:
- The product installed in your home
- Heart Service — regular professional servicing
- Filter replacements (for purifiers) included as scheduled
- Peace of mind without a large upfront cost
What is Heart Service?
Heart Service is Coway's signature maintenance program. A trained specialist visits your home periodically to clean, check and service your product, and replace filters where applicable. This keeps your purifier or appliance performing at its best — you don't have to buy or change filters yourself.
Understanding the plan options (3+2, 5+0, 7+0)
Coway rental plans come in different commitment lengths. You'll often see options like:
- 7+0 — a 7-year plan, usually the lowest monthly price
- 5+0 — a 5-year plan, slightly higher monthly
- 3+2 — a 3-year commitment with a 2-year extension option; the monthly price is higher but the commitment period is shorter
In general, the longer the plan, the lower the monthly cost. The best choice depends on how long you plan to keep the product and your monthly budget.
